Vinegar on windshield

Many professional window cleaners swear by using a white vinegar solution. There are several reasons for this, it is totally organic and obviously has no chemicals in it. It’s cheap, and in all honesty it leaves a beautiful streak free finish. Many people do get put off by the smell, and yes while this is true – that shouldn’t be a reason to discount it.

Many windshield washing solutions are full of chemicals, and not only that very expensive. Due to the chemicals present in many of these windshield formulas, they can also cause the rubber on the windshield wipers to deteriorate.

You can pick up a gallon of vinegar for a couple of dollars at your local supermarket or store. Give it a shot and you will see the difference when you clean your windshield next.

Can You Use Vinegar On Your Car?

Vinegar is also great to use on the chrome detailing on your car. It isn’t abrasive and will leave it sparkling like new. Another use is to use it to remove any bumper stickers on your car without taking away your paint with it. It can also be used to clean the interior of your car. Vinegar is a disinfectant because its acetic acid content kills odors dead and most mold, bacteria and germs. So again an ideal way to remove any foul smells in the interior of your car.
