We’re proud to share that Ace Glass is sponsoring the beer cart at this year’s RVA Charity Golf Tournament, taking place Friday, October 16th at Magnolia Green Golf Club in Moseley. It’s a cause and a community we’ve supported for years, and we’re looking forward to another great day on the course.
A Decade of Giving Back
What started as a modest event in 2015, raising $2,500 in its first year, has grown into one of Richmond’s most anticipated charity golf outings. Founded by Mark Ogorchock of Client First Insurance Group, the tournament raised nearly $20,000 in 2024 alone. This year, organizers are aiming even higher, with a goal of $30,000 or more.
All proceeds benefit the Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center and The Willow Collaborative. The food bank has helped provide over 160,000 meals to families in need, while The Willow Collaborative offers support services and advocacy to women in Powhatan County and surrounding rural areas who are survivors of abuse. Past tournaments have also supported Medical Home Plus, which assists families with children who have intellectual disabilities.
Why We Keep Showing Up
We’ve partnered with this tournament for years, and it’s easy to see why the relationship has stuck. As our owner Justin put it when the sponsorship was announced, we’re proud to support such a great event and an even better cause, and we’re grateful to Client First Insurance Group for including us again this year.
The organizers behind the tournament even highlighted that partnership in their own sponsor spotlight, noting Ace Glass has served the Richmond area since 1996 as a family-owned and operated business, and that our team is quick, responsive, and easy to work with. That kind of recognition means a lot coming from people doing real work in the community.
